Bak Kut Teh for dinner tonight

It's been a long while since I last cooked Bak Kut Teh (BKT) at home. Hence, despite such hot weather lately (including the ugly haze), I still went ahead with my original plans of cooking BKT. Lou kung loves it a lot! He said I should cook BKT more often not only because it is delicious but in addition the stock market would progress well too. Hahah... Very funny - no correlation at all!

Home cook Bak Kut Teh Dinner

Just a brief summary of the ingredients for today's BKT

  1. Pork (12 pieces of nicely cut pork ribs)
  2. 1 packet of BKT's spices
  3. 4 1/2 cloves garlic
  4. 1 tbsp thick dark sauce
  5. 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  6. Soy sauce
  7. Salt
  8. Vegetable - Lettuce
